DAY 2 –
TOKYO
Departure from Paris, dinner, night, and breakfast on board. Upon arrival at the airport, transfer to the hotel and check-in. Here we are, right in the heart of Tokyo. For this first afternoon, depending on the arrival time, we let ourselves be immersed, with curiosity, in the bustling life of Tokyoites. Exploring the popular district of Asakusa and the Sensoji Temple immerses us in the history of Japanese culture.
DAY 3 –
SUWA
230km
 – 3h45
Loading the luggage, getting acquainted with the motorcycles, and after a brief briefing, you will experience your first encounter with the urban traffic of the world's largest metropolis. Easy! Our first stop takes us to the Yamanashi Museum in Kofu. With the adjustment to driving on the left side done, we can now embark on the first mountain roads. Evening at the ryokan for a dinner in yukata and to relax in the onsens.
DAY 5 –
KANAZAWA
125km
 – 2h45
We spend the day exploring Shirakawa-go and Gokayama. These two villages, with their Gassho-style houses, demonstrate a perfect adaptation to their natural and traditional environment, as well as to today's socio-economic specificities. Of exceptional value, they are classified as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Departure in the late afternoon for Kanazawa. Visit to the Gold Leaf Museum and a stroll through the HigashiChaya-gai district, a haunt of geishas.
DAY 7 –
NANAO
200km
 – 4h00
This morning, we head to the Noto Peninsula and the beaches of the Sea of Japan. During a stop, we explore one of the oldest Shinto shrines dedicated to the deity Okuninushi, the god of love. The Noto region is particularly known for its artistic activity, especially lacquer painting on objects. We'll make a stop at one of these workshops before heading to our accommodation to enjoy the delicacy of local cuisine.
DAY 8 –
HAKUBA
205km
 – 4h20
This morning's journey takes us to Toyama, a renowned hub for Japanese fishing and famous worldwide for its nocturnal spectacles. During the squid's firefly squid spawning season, their bioluminescent light illuminates the waters of the bay with a sparkling blue glow. As today is dedicated to all things fish-related, we'll explore the Kaiwomaru Park and its charming districts before heading back towards the mountain ranges of Nagano.
DAY 10 –
NIKKO
210km
 – 4h20
It's called the "Romantic Highway," a name that suits it well as we'll journey along it for nearly 110 km. We'll make a stop for a short stroll in Kusatsu, renowned for its hot springs, before heading towards the Nikko National Park nestled in the heart of ancient volcanoes. We'll pause for lunch on the shores of Lake Chuzenji to soak in the renowned views of the area. Our accommodation in Nikko awaits us via a rather surprising route.
