Whether it’s an extreme adventure, a personal challenge, or the stirring of a culture and its history, there are many reasons to experience this ultimate sensation and capture it in a slice of life. In any case, the North Cape is a unique and fascinating destination where the magical encounter between nature and natural phenomena such as the Northern Lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer unfolds. You’ll enjoy this motorcycle road trip as the sun’s rays perpetuate the night.

MOLDE

150 km - 3h30

Few regions offer as much land amidst the waves and as many viewpoints as Romsdal County. Before we saddle up for our first leg, we visit one of them; a taster while we wait for the best. Our route to the city of roses will be a succession of rugged coastal landscapes.

TRONDHEIM

70 km - 1h30

The city of Trondheim is one of the key centers of the country’s cultural and artistic revival. Here too, the distant past has left its lasting mark on the heart of the city. We take a short break to explore the remains of the fortress before boarding the coastal ferry, which will take us, after a 24-hour journey, more than 900 km away.

TROMSO

230 km - 4h00

Fjord and panoramas will be our traveling companions for the day. Nestled in the middle of a small fjord and only accessible by three bridges, our next destination, located on a small island, is only 230 km away. In Tromsø, nicknamed “Nordic Paris,” we can take in some heights or indulge in some local discoveries such as the MS Polstjerna, the Troll Museum, the Arctic Cathedral, or the Polar Museum.

NORTH CAPE

250 km - 4h00

Last hours before reaching our first road trip objective on Magerøya Island. The landscape is smoother, the vegetation sparse, but to experience the incredible moment of the midnight sun, we’ll have to wait a little longer. To coordinate our arrival with this moment, we’ll make two stops; one at the North Cape Museum and the other in Skarsvåg, the northernmost village. Last tunnel, last kilometers, here is the North Cape and its midnight sun.

ANDFORDEN *

180 km - 5h00

You’ll probably think the beautiful adventure is almost over. Think again, it’s now that the emotions begin; we’re landing on the fantastic island of Senja. This immense island is a distillation of the best that Norway has to offer. Green mountains, panoramic views, fine sandy beaches, reliefs with striking contrasts that give the illusion of being able to touch them… you’ll have a hard time regaining your senses.

LOFOTEN

Free day. There are plenty of activities to enjoy this season: lazing on the beach, summer festivals, exhibitions, kayaking, photography in Henningsvær, and more. There’s something for everyone. For those who want to return home with a headful of images, even the uninitiated, there are still fantastic hikes to enjoy.

Elsfjorden * - Trondheim

770 km - 11h00

The two days (14 & 15) are mainly devoted to reaching Trondheim, more than 750 km away, the day after the next afternoon. The route taken is a balanced mix of scenic routes, coastal roads and roads that allow for driving time. In Trondheim, the very many students living in the city traditionally celebrate the arrival of summer for several days; we will take advantage of these moments.

ÅNDALSNES

290 km - 4h30

For our next stop, we head to the Åndalsnes region, on the banks of the Romsdalsfjorden, to easily convince ourselves that southern Norway is just as splendid as the north. We can take advantage of the mechanized facilities to access a dizzying viewpoint at an altitude of over 600 meters.

On request and under feasibility conditions, participants registering alone can group to avoid the single room supplement.

Price

The prices are applicable on the date of publication of the catalogue, for this season. They are revisable according to the regulations in force. Air Moto Tours reserves the right to cancel the trip or submit for approval, a possible fare adjustment if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
